George Line Dominates Tiedeman Trophy Championship

George Line from Thurcaston, Leicester won 5 of the 6 rounds of the 2023 Reprise IT Tiedeman Trophy Championship. Racing his Formula 3 Dallara he was also able to set lap records.

Frank Tiedeman was the founder of the Monoposto Racing Club. A new Autumn Championship was established bearing his name after his death in 2013. Frank was a prominent advocate of single seater racing.

The three venues for the 6 race Autumn Championship were Anglesey Coastal, Castle Combe and Silverstone National. George lost one win due to a gear box failure on the last lap at Castle Combe where he was leading! A swift rebuild meant it was possible to race in The Walter Hayes Trophy Weekend at Silverstone.

Langford Line Motorsport is run by Robin Langford, founder of Langrop Anstey Ltd. The crew on race days are students, male and female from both Wolverhampton University and Swansea University who are studying for various Motorsport Degrees. We are able to give them valuable trackside experience to enhance their career progression.

Next year we look forward to a full season’s racing in the Monoposto Championship.
